With the concept of the "green economy" becoming a global trend, General Secretary Xi Jinping once noted, "To achieve our 'double carbon' goals represents a far-reaching and profound change, as well as a long-term task. It calls for steadfast, scientific, and orderly efforts." He stressed, "We should uphold the principle of establishing new approaches before abolishing the old." He used a metaphor, "We shouldn't abandon the old means of maintaining our livelihoods before new means of doing so are found." His comments made it clear that we should work toward creating a green and clean environment, while also ensuring normal progress in production and life.
